Kenya is now infamous for being the only sub-Sharan country in the gang of 40 “galvanized against Russia’s invasion”. It does so knowing full well that the war in Ukraine is not between Ukraine and Russia but between Russia and the west, and that west is waging this war to subjugate the non-western world by humiliating, if not defeating, the principal power opposing that subjugation, Russia, and then making it an unforgettable example for other wannabe challengers of the west, principally China.
More importantly, Kenya stood fully behind the unprecedented ganging up of the west against Russia knowing that if the west defeats Russia, it will most likely defeat China and then, having no serious challenger to its domination, it will immediately march straight to Africa to realize its long-sought neocolonial dream, as clearly stated by one of the loudest saber rattlers of the war in Ukraine, the current prime minister of UK, Boris Johnson.
“The best fate for Africa would be if the old colonial powers, or their citizens, scrambled once again in her direction; on the understanding that this time they will not be asked to feel guilty. The continent may be a blot, but it is not a blot upon our conscience … The problem is not that we were once in charge, but that we are not in charge anymore.” (Boris Johnson).
Moreover, Kenya sided with the west knowing that, if the west were to dominate the world without any serious challenger, it will readily throw off its veil of freedom, democracy, and human right to completely reveal its true racist self by riving Gobineau’s theory of master race, as paraphrased by another racist English prime minister, Mr. Winston Churchill.
“I do not admit for instance, that a great wrong has been done to the Red Indians of America or the black people of Australia. I do not admit that a wrong has been done to these people by the fact that a stronger race, a higher-grade race, a more worldly-wise race to put it that way, has come in and taken their place. The Aryan stock is bound to triumph.” (Winston Churchill).
Boris Johnson implied the same when he wrote that Africa’s “problem is not that we were once in charge, but that we are not in charge anymore”, meaning, “Africans are subhuman and, therefore, must be ruled by the Aryan master race”. In short, according to English neocolonialists, Africa is a “hopeless continent” and, therefore, is forever “the Whiteman’s burden”.
Why would a colonized African country gang up with English neocolonialists who are proud of their barbaric colonial history and are itching to repeat it, against Russia who fought colonialists all over Africa alongside Africa? Why did Kenya’s UN ambassador, Mr. Martin Kimani, purposely and dishonestly confuse Mr. Putin’s quest for security with the openly stated neocolonialist aspirations of English politicians and statesmen?
Was it because Kenya’s present leadership is happy that Kenya’s borders were drawn by its English colonial masters who, for example, made sure that their colony incorporated almost the whole of lake Turkana, even though the lake is fed almost exclusively by the Omo river of Ethiopia, who, because of its scintillating anticolonial history, is permanently sabotaged by the west to be in a state of permanent civil war?
Was it because Kenya, whose economy is more or less fully controlled by westerners and their Indian surrogates, is allowed by the west to enjoy relative peace so that its relatively ok situation can be easily contrasted with the warring and impoverished non-colonized Ethiopia so as to give neocolonialists a reason to argue “colonization was good for Africa and so will recolonization”?
What would make the dear friend of Ethiopia, the great Jomo Kenyatta, turn in his grave more than an English neocolonialist like Mr. Johnson contrasting Kenya with Ethiopia to justify colonization and openly push for recolonization by saying Africa’s “problem is not that we were once in charge, but that we are not in charge anymore”.
What has the present leadership of Kenya been promised by the west for its despicable prostitution to the west? Is the promise worth the shame and humiliation by blacks all over the world? What if the promise turned out to be a false promise, considering the proven track record of the west on false promises made to the natives of Africa, America, and Australia? After all, was it not Jomo Kenyatta who famously said, “the Europeans gave us bibles only so that when we close our eyes to pray, they could take our land”, thereby advising Africans never ever to trust the West, above all the English?

One thing I would add is the case of tens of millions of dollars Uhuru Kenyatta and his family squirreled away into overseas accounts while preaching transparency and fighting corruption to poor Kenyans. The news (Pandora Papers) came out on October 4,2021. Ten days later Uhuru was facing Biden White House. As if stealing from poor Kenyans was not enough Uhuru entered into a deal to do Biden Admin’s bidding in the Horn of Africa. He got earfuls from Biden and State Department apparatchiks that such criminality as he had committed could see him standing before the ICC at The Hague. The way out? Dutifully comply and we will get you off the hook (at least temporarily).
US never once shied from going along with dictators, robbers, and jihadists to advance its strategic interests. No, not once. Defending democracy by standing with Ukraine is just one among innumerable hypocritical stances it had taken over the decades. So Uhuru unashamedly took his marching orders from Washington (yessa, massa) by turning into Ethiopia’s arch-enemy. He has been at the fore-front of Biden’s Ethiopia project ever since.
የራስዋ ሲያርባት የሰው ታማስላለች ። Kenya is not doing too bad: largest economy in East Africa, liberal democracy, relatively stable and good diplomatic tradition, all which compares against Ethiopia’s political turbulence, social chaos and economic decline. And, who knows, Ethiopia could receive foreign aid from Kenya! . So is the above Amharic .folklore quoted above.
It is not a dignified way to call a die-hard friend and reliable neighbor such a vile term. This is totally misplaced and reckless. The old country already has its hands full. To be a committed fan of Putin is one thing but to insult a friendly neighbor is utterly irresponsible. Very, very sad!!!
Well, expressing one’s ideas and opinions about the position of any government on any issue in any way he or she understands regardless of whether it is contrary to the very hard reality or not the right thing to do. Yes, Kenyan ruling elites may have their own reason and interests to take the position they have taken, and this is not unusual or abnormal practice in world politics or Intenational relations. It is the right thing to express our views of critique within this context of political reality of the world.
But it must be said that the ones (the governments) which did not want to remain absentees (“neutral”) on this very clear war of aggression and invasion of Russia against an independent and sovereign country (Ukraine) are not free from the behavior and act of political prostitution.
yes, it may be fair to say that the West is in a business of war with Russia. But they have a very legitimate reason to do so as Russia have grossly violated one of the most important international laws (invading a Sovereign country where there was provocation). Not having clear position on this very clear situation and not condemning it is actually a political prostitution., not the other way round.

This is actually a golden opportunity for Africans and other non developed countries to reset their dependency in the West handouts and create a beneficiary long term mutually respectful and symmetric realtionship with other non western powers around the world and of course including Russia which has been a trustable ally along the history not only now but all along back to the Soviet Union or even before that. Theis story and Africans story fending off western aggressive geopolitical incursions makes them natural ally for Africa. On top of that both Africans and other developed countries benefit from the relationship as Russia is not selling their natural resources at full western market earmarks but way below that price and mostly western multinationals are benefiting from the scheme. So Russia could sale it’s natural resources and manufacturing exports to the developed countries at more attractive prices than the western markets earmarked prices and they may also get better prices for their products by taking out the monopoly of Western distribution oligarchs. At the end we all know all that song of Western economic productivity is based on the fallacy of that western working hour is thousands times more valuable than any other worker in the developing country by means of artificially bloating the value of their currencies which they can print at will. None developed countries should seriously consider having positions reserves in both Russian rubbles and Chinese yuan and also empowering and exporting to this markets. Only the elite addiction and corruption makes to blindly choose western adherence irrationally by all means and have the people fate at mercy of Western historical exploration.
We should not be too hard on Kenya: For Kenya is the mask the west is wearing as it chews up Ethiopia. Safaricom, a guise for British telecom corporations, is just one example. There are more to come in various strategic investment sectors such as banking etc. They will call it Jambo Guana Bank and it will actually be good old British Barclays Bank stepping in to nicely dispossess the “poor” Ethiopia. So, don’t be too hard on Kenya, it is the back door entrance to jump unsuspecting Ethiopia.
I expect Russia to do start doing what China did for decedes economic trade expansion to Africa and Latin America. I do think they want to be as mean as USA. But they potentially also explore nuclear armed bases right close to USA in freidly Latin American and North African Arab countries that border Europe. then NATO will have what they deserve for silent proxy war mongering for decades. Even is no countries allow Russia to have a base with nuclear capabilities they should start building offshore rigscin shallow international waters all around USA and Europe and deploy nuclear warheads there. Then let NATO nations feel how secure they fell that way. The western world is pretty stupid believing these war mongers on a sheep cloth. And they really underestimate Russia and it’s capabilities. USA its NASA and all exuberance of modern rocetery and Sapaca X should be remembered is a reverse engineering of Russian left over. They are just fools playing with dangerous games.
And Europe is already done. Kallingrad will have an arsenal to wipe out all Europe in Few minutes. Only stupids think to have that kind of danger in their own backyard. All to bow to the USA military industrial compley lobbies that are funneled by Blinken and Co. Hey these folks and the new Sec of Defence think actually a nuclear war could be even won so may be if you are a real devil you could survive that.
