The human rights group said it was concerned about reports of a planned deportation operation next Wednesday of several Ethiopians whose asylum request was rejected by Switzerland.

Amnesty said the east African country was not safe due to ongoing political tensions, including serious human rights violations in the northern Tigray region ahead of parliamentary elections scheduled for June.

The Swiss justice ministry’s State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) did not comment on the reports by the Migrant Solidarity Network group.

The SEM said last week that repatriation flights to Ethiopia were possible regardless of the coronavirus pandemic.

But such operations to conflict areas were excluded, a spokesman told the Swiss news agency, Keystone-SDA.

In November, the Swiss government pledged CHF2 million ($2.3 million) for humanitarian aid in the violence-hit Tigray region. It has called on all parties to respect international humanitarian law.

  1. Good news deport PP cadres .
Eritreans, took the story of their enslavement , and barbaric act of PJDF in SAWA and hell bent on repeating it in Tigray . And they are striving to repeat the barbaric act on others . According to experts For people who lived in high conflict area being abused , abusive behavior can seem normative. For many abused Eritrean youths at sawa ,killing, raping is normal .As you might have heard from the eritrean pastor , general Philopos and his collegues are renowned rapists .

Humans are the glory and the scum of the universe, concluded the French philosopher, Blaise Pascal, in 1658. This applies exclusively to Eritreans who are committing heinous crimes in Tigray ; they used to tell us that Ethiopians under TPLF regime deported them. They are not even capable to present the atrocities or crime committed against them except deportation and loss of their houses or whatever they left behind during their departure. However, now they are killing, raping , bombing , and destroying infrastructure and heritages. How could a human being a kill a kid woman and priests being heart burned with longing for revenge for the loss of properties back in 90s ? Some also claim that they are committing such atrocities currently because their defeat in 1998-2000 border war. The war crimes perpetrated against civilians by Eritreans are countless and distinct in nature and magnitude. After all, revenge begets revenge. Sadism involves enjoying another person’s humiliation and hurt. Yet it is often said that dehumanising people is what allows us to be cruel. Potential victims are labelled as dogs, lice or cockroaches, allegedly making it easier for others(Eritreans ) to hurt them. ESAT, HIGDEF , Amhara mass media, Yoni magna, Tolosa ibsa and other cyber militia started with hate speech long time ago before this war erupted. They are sadists just as like Abiy Ahmed and Isayas Afwerki.
