Mekele is within 20km

November 26, 2020
26 Nov 2020 – (EP) Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) have controlled today strategic places, including the Ashegoda wind farm (pictured) in the eastern parts of the Tigray regional capital city, Mekele.
The advancing Ethiopian army moved in quickly to protect one of the biggest wind farms in sub-Saharan Africa from the irresponsible junta, 22 km from Mekele city, the hiding place of the terrorist TPLF group.
The US$200m Ashegoda wind farm consists of 84 hi-tech turbine towers with a capacity of 120MW.
The operation came after Ethiopia’s prime minister ordered the army today to attack the capital of the Tigray region after a 72-hour ultimatum for the TPLF junta to surrender expired.
