Fire at Asebot Monastery in eastern Ethiopia (VOA)

(Source: Ethiopian Review) Ethiopian monasteries are under attack. Last week, the Woyanne junta started to demolish 18 churches at Woldeba Monastery in northern Ethiopia. Yesterday, the historic Ziquala Monastery in southern Ethiopia was being threatened with a raging forest fire. VOA reports that Asebot Monastery in eastern Ethiopia is also engulfed with fire.
