Ethiopian Activist Tedla Asfaw on C-SPAN

Tedla Asfaw, Ethiopian American activist and frequent critic of the Ethiopian regime, has called on President Obama to distance himself from Susan Rice, the US Ambassador to United Nations. Mr. Asfaw said, “Dr. Rice, she has a problem when she was secretary of African Affairs during the Clinton administration, she was worried Rwanda to use the word genocide in now she goes to Ethiopia and eulogizes the worst human rights abuser in Africa. How can the United States to preach about human rights when their own ambassador are telling the world that — it is a disgrace. I wish Barack Obama tells this woman that she is not representing the United States in the United Nations.”
