This is ZEWDI REDA not ALEM DECHASSA

March 24, 2012

BY Zewdi Reda (California)
In the past week, this photo has been saturated in the internet and news around the world mistaken for our dear Alem Dechassa.

This is not Alem Dechassa. This is Zewdi Reda, which happens to be me. I am urging the media around the world to please correct this grave mistake as it’s affecting me and my family.

I grew up in California,USA never been to Lebanon. So please get the facts before your broadcast.

I know we all need a face to the name. But it is wrong to put someone who is clearly alive as dead.

I am the former Miss Ethiopia, and now I run my own non profit called Have Hope Foundation, where I help HIV/AIDS orpans in Ethiopia. Please visit the website and learn more about who ZEWDI REDA.

Again, THIS IS NOT ALEM DECHASSA, THIS IS ZEWDI REDA.
