ETHIOPIAN AMERICANS! JOIN ME IN GETTING THE U.S. GOVERNMENT TO REDESIGNATE THE TPLF A “FOREIGN TERRORIST ORGANIZATION”!

[Al Mariam’s “Twitter Droppings” for August 24, 2022, at the end.]

On August 31, 2021, Sean Jones, head of the USAID mission in Ethiopia, told Ethiopian state television:

We know for a fact… that the TPLF (Tigray People’s Liberation Front), every town they’ve gone into they looted the warehouses, they’ve looted trucks, they’ve caused a great deal of destruction in all the villages they visited and it’s a great concern for humanitarians… What we do have proof of is that several of our warehouses have been looted and completely emptied in the areas, particularly Amhara, the TPLF soldiers have gone into. (Boldface added.)

For the past year, WHO Director and member of the terrorist TPLF has been vociferously complaining about fuel shortages in Tigray.

On August 24, 2022, the World Food Program categorically condemned the TPL for looting and stealing 570 thousand liters of fuel secured for civilian and humanitarian purposes.

On August 24, 2022, for the first time since November 2020, the US government “condemned” terrorist acts by the TPLF after they commandeered the hijacking and looting of the WFP fuel trucks .

On August 24, 2022, WFP chief David Beasley tweeted his condemnation and demanded immediate return of the fuel trucks.

Condemnation is not enough

Condemnation, declaration of concern, appealing to the conscienceless TPLF, etc. are not enough!

The US government MUST immediately reinstate the TPLF to its Foreign Terrorist Organizations List.

For decades, the TPLF has been listed in the Global Terrorism Database for documented acts of terrorism including armed robberies, assaults, hostage taking and kidnapping of foreign nationals and journalists and local leaders, hijacking of truck convoys, extortion of business owners and merchants, nongovernmental organizations, local leaders and private citizens and intimidation of religious leaders and journalists.

On September 16, 2006, the U.S. Embassy concluded the TPLF had indeed engaged in acts of terrorism against Ethiopian citizens and tried to blame others:

series of explosions were reported in Addis Ababa killing three individuals. The GoE announced that the bombs went off while being assembled, and that the three dead were terrorists from the outlawed Oromo Liberation Front (OLF) with links to the Oromo National Congress (ONC). An embassy source, as well as clandestine reporting, suggests that the bombing may have in fact been the work of GoE security forces.” (Italics added.)

The TPLF is also registered as a terrorist organization by the Terror Research and Analysis Consortium (TRAC).

The U.S. government had classified the TPLF as a “tier III” terrorist organization until 2014 when it issued an exemption in a policy memorandum.

The 2014 policy memorandum stated the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security has

exercised his discretionary authority not to apply certain terrorism-related inadmissibility grounds to certain aliens for voluntary activities or associations relating to the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF)… The TPLF qualifies as a Tier III terrorist organization under INA section 212(a)(3)(B)(vi)(III) on the basis of its violent activities before it became part of the ruling coalition and the government of Ethiopia in May 1991. (Boldface added.)

There is evidence the U.S. has supported the TPLF terrorists by providing them, among other things, satellite telephones for communication and data on Ethiopian troop movements and targets to attack.

On August 23, 2022, the US deployed “100 members of the Connecticut Air National Guard (CANA) to Horn of Africa.”

“Bringing people and cargo to locations and airdrops” are the specialty of CANA. One soldier said, “If there is no place to land the C-a30 cargo planes, we can airdrop equipment or personnel to a particular location.”

The commander of the CANA unit said it’s old hat to them. “We were in the thick of battle in Mosul (Iraq) in 2017, did the clean up in Iraq in 2019 and did Afghanistan in 2021.”

Is the US planning to airdrop weapons for the TPLF?

On August 24, 2024, a cargo plane carrying weapons for the terrorist TPLF entered Ethiopian airspace and was shot down.

Operation Red Dragon

On November 27, 2021, the U.S. launched Task Force Operation Red Dragon.

“More than 1,000 Virginia and Kentucky Army National Guard Soldiers were mobilized to provide a security force in support of Combined Joint Task Force – Horn of Africa.”

It was a time when the Biden administration was frantically calling on all Americans and all expatriates to leave Ethiopia immediately. It was implied Operation Red Dragon would aid in the evacuation of Americans out of Ethiopia.

In reality, it was was part of the Biden administration’s grey war to demoralize Ethiopians in to submission and restore the terrorist TPLF to power.

The Biden administration made the announcement of Operation Red Dragon at the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia.

There is a clear reason why the National D-Day Memorial was chosen as the site for the departure of Red Dragon troops.

“D-Day” or “Operation Overlord” (seaborne component “Operation Neptune) marks the allied invasion of Normandy (France) on June 6, 1944 in the largest seaborne invasion in history.

“Operation Overlord” was billed as the beginning of the liberation of France and Western Europe and spearhead the Allied victory on the Western Front.

The message of Operation Red Dragon-Ethiopia was clear. “We’re coming to get ya!”

Within weeks, the Biden administration grey war on Ethiopia collapsed!

TPLF, Boko Haram and Al-Shabbab

On November 14, 2013, the U.S. listed Boko Haram, the terrorist organization operating out of Nigeria, on its Foreign Terrorist Organization roster for stealing and burning fuel trucks, suicide bombings and  armed assaults on civilian and military targets.

On June 15, 2014 the U.S. delisted the TPLF as a terrorist organization!!

On November 3-4, 2020, the TPLF  attacked the Ethiopian National Defense Force bases in Tigray region, killed and maimed thousands of soldiers. The TPLF continued its rampage and and committed untold numbers of terrorist atrocities in Amhara and Afar regions over the past year.

The Ethiopian government declared a unilateral ceasefire and agreed to peace talks without preconditions partly under pressure from the Biden adminisntration and the European Union.

On August 24, 2022, terrorist TPLF forces launched an attack on Ethiopian positions and were repulsed.

On August 31, 2021, the TPLF violently attacked and raided USAID warehouses and stole aid stored for humanitarian purposes.

On August 24, 2022, the TPLF raided the World Food Program warehouses and hijacked 12 fuel truck holding 570 thousand liters of fuel for use in its war on Ethiopia.

On August 18, 2022, the US announced its forces killed 13 fighters of the al-Shabaab militant group in an airstrike in Somalia.

The US continues to support Nigeria to combat Boko through capacity-building assistance for security forces in the region, providing equipment, logistics and advisory support.

IS IT NOT HIGH TIME FOR THE U.S. TO REDESIGNATE THE TPLF AS A FOREIGN TERRORIST ORGANIZATION AND HELP OUT ITS OLDEST FRIEND IN ALL OF AFRICA!?

  1. እንደምናችሁ!

How hilariously the Nazis would have laughed had the Jews in their crosshairs asked them to condemn the SS? Don’t Egypt’s White Supremacist West [WSW] masters work hand-and-glove with their TPLF-OLF/OLA Savage Dogs? TPLF-OLF/OLA=WSW’s SS.

Problem solving starts with the parameters/variables that Ethiopia can control [just like a math equation with many variables]. What control does Ethiopia ever have over the Anti-Ethiopia WSW that has been hell-bent on destroying Ethiopia since time immemorial?

Ethiopia still struggles to protect Ethiopians! Ethiopia couldn’t even contain the TPLF in its Cage [Tigray] yet. How on earth was the TPLF let out of its Cage let alone occupy Qobbo again? ጠላት – እማ – ምን ጊዜም ጠላት ነው! አስቀድሞ መቅጨት – ተላላኪውን ነው!

Ethiopia should at least hold Ethiopia-Wide Photo-Video Exhibitions of the TPLF-OLF/OLA’s Savagery: massacre [Northern Command/Maykadra/Wollega…]; victim interviews [rape/torture…]; destruction [hospital/school…]; lootings [banks/homes…].

Ethiopians should also be well informed of the Global Anti-Ethiopia Conspiracy: the Three Amigos Trio [US-EU-UN]; the TPLF Quartet [Joe Biden/Susan Rice/Samantha Power/ Gayle Smith]; the Cash Quintet [USAID/UN-WFP-HRC/WB/IMF/ECB].

  2. Al Mariam,
There is no doubt TPLF is a terrorist organisation. So are their cadres who are currently in government, who are carrying out even a worse genocide. why are you so shy to talk about these? Is it because they are the current paymasters?
