The people of Georgia have spoken.
Herschel Walker will be the Republican candidate to face off Democrat Raphael Warnock for the Georgia Senate seat on November 8, 2022.
I congratulate Herschel on his primary victory. Well-deserved!
Herschel ran a classy campaign reaching out to all parts of the Georgia community.
I also want to thank and congratulate Ethiopian American voters in Georgia who worked quietly but determinedly to mobilize the broader immigrant voter community to support Herschel.
I appreciate you all!
The facts speak for themselves.
Over 1,851,747 (with over 96% counted) Georgians voted in the senatorial primary.
Vastly more Republicans (1,166,657) than Democrats (685,090) cast their ballots.
424,749 more Republicans showed up at the polls than Democrats.
With over 96 percent of Republican votes (1,138248) counted, Herschel received 796,452 (68.2%).
With over 96 percent of the Democrat votes counted (713,499), Warnock received 685,090 (96%)
Herschel would have annihilated Warnock if the primary had been the general election.
The writing is on the wall for Democrats in Congress to read. “Prepare to vacate on November 8, 2022.”
It is very encouraging to see Republicans fired up and raring to deliver a crushing defeat to Democrats!
In 2020, Democrat Warnock won the senate seat by 51% (2,288,923) against Republican Kelly Loeffler (49%, 2,195,373).
Warnock won by 93,550 votes.
It is a different ball game in 2022.
The Democrats are fumbling on the political grid iron. They are running a busted play with total confusion and chaos on the field.
Under the Biden/Warnock administration, America is going to hell in a handbasket.
Biden donates $40 billion to a faraway country as Americans struggle to make ends meet.
“Hey Joe, can you spare me a dime?”
Reminds me of Bing Crosby’s Great Depression song, “Can you spare a dime?”
They used to tell me I was building a dream/With peace and glory ahead

“Can you spare me a dime?”
That is what ordinary, working, toiling and struggling Americans who have lost hope of building the American dream and waiting in line for bread are asking Biden/Warnock.
(Warnock voted to give Ukraine $40 billion and $0 to help Georgians struggling to make ends meet.)

Biden/Warnock are more interested in handing out precious American tax dollars to save the world than saving American babies who are suffering from lack of baby formula.
Unbelievable!
Babies in the richest country in the world are facing a baby formula famine.

Thanks to Biden the Pale Horse of the Apocalypse of inflation is galloping all over the land at nearly double digit speeds.
Crime is spiking everywhere.
There has been mass shooting every day in America since January 1, 2022 as the Biden hands out $40 billion to fight mass shootings in Ukraine.
The stock and bond markets are on the verge of collapse.
Words of an impending recession and prophesies of economic doom and gloom drip from the lips of the economic pundits.
Clueless and out of touch Biden says high gas prices are good and part of “an incredible transition” of the US economy away from fossil fuels.
Incredible!
Biden has driven away America’s best and most loyal friends and allies.
In a historic act of defiance against the US, 17 African countries abstained from the UN vote to condemn Russian military intervention in Ukraine.
Ethiopia, America’s oldest and most loyal friend on the African continent, did NOT vote even vote at the UN on the Russia resolution!
Ethiopia and the United States established relations in 1903 when the African continent was on the chopping blocks of the European colonial powers.
Ethiopia has always supported the US in securing global peace.
The United States has been the largest donor of aid to Ethiopia.
Ethiopia was America’s most important strategic partner in the Global War on terrorism.
Yet, when Ethiopia was itself attacked by the terrorist TPLF, the Biden administration sided, aided and abetted the TPLF terrorists to violently overthrow the elected government of Ethiopia and take power.
The Biden administration has left no stone not turned to topple the Ethiopian government and install the terrorist TPLF to power!
The Biden administration has used lies, fake news, disinformation and all forms of propaganda, coordinated with the so-called international human rights organizations, the European Union, the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, and the global corporate media to sanction, demonize and dehumanize Ethiopia and Ethiopians into submission.
History shows Ethiopians have always loved America and stood with America through thick and thin.
The preferred foreign destination of the vast majority of Ethiopians is the United States of America.
Hundreds of thousands of Ethiopians have received their higher education in the U.S. Many chose to become American citizens and took a solemn vow to preserve, protect and defend the U.S. Constitution. A few lucky ones defended the U.S. Constitution in the judicial tribunals of the land.
Today, because of what the Biden administration has done to support the terrorist TPLF, there is deep, widespread and intense resentment of the US in Ethiopia.
That development breaks my heart and weighs heavily on my mind.
When Biden signed his executive order removing Ethiopia from benefitting under the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA), the people of Ethiopia saw an act of unfathomable cruelty and abysmal moral depravity, and were deeply wounded and saddened.
I wrote Biden an open letter, “Hey Joe! Have you heard what the wailing factory women in Ethiopia are saying about AGOA?”
As a result of Biden’s executive order, tens of thousands of poor Ethiopian factory workers lost their jobs and were plunged into abject poverty.
Because of the Biden administration’s morbid attachment to the terrorist TPLF, Ethiopia-US relations today are in the pits.
That comes as no surprise to Ethiopians.
Under the Biden/Warnock administration, it is darkness at noon in America!
That is why I urge Ethiopian American and others who care about the future of America as the leader of the free world to do their very best to deliver a stinging and crushing defeat to Democrats in Congress on November 8, 2022.
Biden ran on the slogan of “saving the soul of America.” Today, we must exercise our right to vote and save America from the Obama/Biden New World Order.

As a college football player, Herschel compiled a singularly incomparable achievement of 49 rushing touchdowns and 5,259 rushing yards.
Team Herschel must now work together to make sure Herschel will complete the greatest touchdown of his life and win the Georgia Senate seat.
When I endorsed Herschel on April 17, 2022, I had a message for him from Ethiopian American voters:
“If you roll with us, Ethiopian American voters, we’ll run with you and make you the next US Senator from Georgia!”
We have delivered in the primary! We shall deliver in the general as well.
It is the fourth quarter, end of the game, final minute, fourth down.

Whether a republican or democratic administration, there is no much difference between them about the country’s foreign policy. You remember what Trump was saying about GERD? I understand that your lamentation is to solicit Herschel Walker’s support for the murderous Galla Abiy Ahmed. But don’t be fool. Your celebration for Walker is too early. Time will tell whether or Warnock wins – then you will write another piece. ዝም ብለህ አንድ ነገር በሰማህ ሁሉ ጮቤ ርገጥ አንተ: ሀፍረተቢስ!
As long as this candidate gives issues that matter most to his constituency the highest priority if he is wins the election in November then he will be considered as a representative who does his job very well. Such achievement will benefit everyone living in the area he represents including Ethiopian-Americans. Ethiopian affairs should always be secondary. First that country, Ethiopia, should learn how to put itself in good hands. Diatribe by rulers about foreign elements this hostile outside groups that should be brought to an abrupt end. Yes there are such hostile elements but who doesn’t have one? Every country has foreign elements that do not want to bury the hatchet but in on our Africa-wide case such hostile existence has been used as an excuse to go after dissidents. Mengistu had used it to the tune of more than a million citizens sending them on a one-way ticket to their graves. Debre’s predecessors were on board with it but what makes them different from Mengistu was they were experts like diamond cutters in embellishing their Brutus act. I’m hearing similar excuses even now. So candidate Herschel better concentrate on issues that matter most to his Georgia and Good Ole USA first then the rest should follow. Otherwise domestic affairs will lose priority and things can go awry. Earlier this year someone I have known quiet sometime called to tell me news that excited him. He told me that a possible ‘winning’ candidate has emerged out of his community that will take the drive for an ‘independent republic’ all the way to the congress. I quizzed him on how he knew that and he told me the candidate had told one of his friends that if elected, will bring up the ‘independence’ quest on the congress floor on the first day there. What AK-47’s could not achieve but it will be realized by a remote control from the Capitol. Go figure!!!
