Message to Democrats: American Liberal Values Should Not be Denied in Ethiopia

October 22, 2021
The current Biden administration has turned a blind eye to the 27 years of oppression of the Ethiopian people under the TPLF regime and are now looking the other way as the TPLF is brutally terrorizing neighboring regions in Amhara and Afar. So what has happened to our American values when we are looking at Ethiopia in this conflict? Democrat lawmakers, think about what your values are, what your party should represent to a large Ethiopian diaspora population now here and voting in the US. They are looking at your reaction towards the conflict and it’s shocking them.

Let us be HONEST, FAIR, and ACCURATE on Ethiopian history
If I misunderstand the Article, it is NOT intentional
Now, let us go to the expression “27 years of oppression … under TPLF regime”” . Is that an accurate and fair statement as compered to the ENTIRE history of Ethiopia? Let us not go too far. What would we call the era of His Imperial Majesty, King of Kings, of the Tribe of Judah, Emperor Haile Selassie??? Please, Please let us be honest, truthful about History.

    • Dear rezen
Never has any Ethiopian administration put Ethiopians against Ethiopians as TPLF did. Never has any previous government in Ethiopia divided the country into small nations that fight each other to survive under TPLF leadership. How many millions of Ethiopians of Amara and Oromo decent have perished under TPLF rule!
Are you seriously comparing TPLF rule to any legitimate Ethiopia government of the past!
Indeed the Derg rule was brutal and savage but TPLF overtook it many folds.
