Tedros Adhanom – Wikipedia Tedros was born in Asmara, which at that time was in Ethiopia but is now the capital of Eritrea,[11] to Adhanom Gebreyesus and Melashu Weldegabir. His family originated from the Enderta awrajja of the province of Tigray.
