Rubio Joins Risch, Colleagues in Re-Introducing Bipartisan Resolution Encouraging Peaceful Resolution to Conflict in Tigray, Ethiopia

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) joined Senators Jim Risch (R-ID), Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, and Senators Ben Cardin (D-MD), Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), Todd Young (R-IN), Tim Kaine (D-VA), and Chris Coons (D-DE) in re-introducing a bipartisan resolution calling on the government of Ethiopia, the Tigray People’s Liberation Front, and other belligerents to cease all hostilities, protect human rights, allow unfettered humanitarian access, and cooperate with independent investigations of credible atrocity allegations pertaining to the conflict in the Tigray region of Ethiopia.
