What is going on in Kabul, Afghanistan is not to be explained by “Hands Off Afghanistan.“ America and its allies are not instructing who should run Afghanistan but rather are moving out of Afghanistan in light speed after twenty years of military adventure.The same people who abandoned Afghanistan after spending trillions of dollars with hundreds of thousands of lives lost including thousands of American and ally soldiers have been trying to control Ethiopia through TPLF, Sudan and Egypt backed anti Ethiopia forces for the last nine months,
If Ethiopians accepted what the Joe Biden administration has been saying TPLF should have marched to Addis Ababa like Taliban did last Sunday to Kabul.
Here is the major difference. USA is on the side of “TPLF takeover” while it is against the Taliban takeover. Afghanistan leader fled Kabul while Abiy Ahmed is still a commander in chief.
USA armed and financed TPLF for 27 years like it armed the Afghanistan army for two decades. USA trained army surrendered while USA armed TPLF is terrorizing Ethiopia with the support of USA, UK and EU and Western pro TPLF medias.
The Western media who spread fake news of the retreating Ethiopia “defeated” by TPLF hardly saying about the 300 thousands well-armed Afghan army just disappear with no fight !!!
The Ethiopian Defense Force that pulled from Tigray did not allow TPLF to march to Addis Ababa like Taliban did in Afghanistan.
All the attempts to cross to Afar and North Wello using human waves including children condoned by anti-Ethiopia foreign powers was countered by regional as well as federal forces.
The pressure on the Ethiopian government using this failed military adventure by TPLF for a regime change did not materialize because Ethiopians volunteered to join the fighting forces at all levels be it regional as well as federal.
Those who lost Afghanistan are the same people who send their “envoys” be it USAID, Senators and especial envoy to the Horn of Africa instruct the Ethiopian government how to run Ethiopia !!!.
Our call for “Hands off Ethiopia” has indeed become clear for all who followed Ethiopia for the last nine months a regime change in Ethiopia even with direct military involvement has zero chance to succeed. The case of Afghanistan is a “God” message to Ethiopians that fighting TPLF and its backers is indeed the right thing to do !!!! Ethiopia for Ethiopians !!!!
