It’s already been ravaged by war. Now Ethiopia’s Tigray region is on the verge of famine – with at least two million people at risk of starvation and death. Elders and international aid agencies are comparing the crisis to the mid-1980s – when war and drought caused a famine that killed up to a million people in the East African country.
