Deepest Condolence
GAJEC extends its deepest condolences to the universal church of the Vatican on the passing of Pope Francis. In this time of mourning, we find solace in the belief that the Lord is a source of liberation and comfort.
Pope Francis was undoubtedly a compassionate leader whose profound humility and unwavering outreach to the world’s marginalized communities offered hope to millions. His voice resonated powerfully as he championed the rights of immigrants, advocating for their dignity and humanity. He spoke eloquently about the intrinsic value of every human life, from the moment of conception until natural death, reinforcing the belief that every individual deserves respect and compassion, regardless of their circumstances.
The impact of his leadership reverberated across the globe, and his absence will be felt deeply by many. Pope Francis not only addressed the challenges faced by vulnerable populations but also took significant steps to acknowledge and apologize for the institutional mistakes of the past. His willingness to confront these issues head-on, seeking forgiveness and healing, exemplified a commitment to a more just and humane future.
Millions around the world will dearly miss Pope Francis, but his legacy of love, humility, and advocacy for the marginalized will continue to inspire future generations. May we honor his memory by striving to embody the values he championed and by seeking peace and understanding among all. In this spirit, we send our prayers for God’s blessings of peace to all.
Sincerely,

Has anybody investigated the reason why the traditionally anti-Catholic American media and body politic was particularly receptive towards this pope?
