December 29, 2020

Dear Members of the Media,

We trust this email finds you well and you are ready to celebrate the coming holidays and receive the New Year with a lot of hope and optimism. The current year has certainly been challenging, but it has also been rewarding in terms of our ability to give and make an impact when it matters the most. The contribution and impact that EDTF made towards the COVID-19 initiative and the launching of other development projects is a true testament to your dedication and generosity.

We have received several requests from donors like you and other stakeholders to support Ethiopia’s urgent needs right now. After a careful and rigorous assessment of the acute shortage of medical supplies, EDTF has committed a Medical Relief Fund of Five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) to supply Hospitals and Medical Institutions in Ethiopia with life-saving medical supplies to serve the affected populations. We ask you to join the special medical relief fundraising campaign to generate an additional $500, 000. Counting on your generosity, we are setting a goal of one million dollars ($1,000,000). Please donate using the special window created for this purpose.

With your continued support, EDTF is proving itself, in multiple instances, that it is a trusted partner for Ethiopians. In this holiday season, we rely on you to join hands and extend your assistance to the men, women, and children whose lives are in danger due to the lack of basic medical treatment. Let’s show our support by donating generously.

We wish you Happy Holidays.
