Humanity in practice means to be a voice for the voiceless and to stand for the protection of life against the tyranny of evil individuals, particularly from the abuse by armed governments, warlords, and politicians. In Ethiopia, civilians, especially innocent people, are subjected to unimaginable crimes such as eviction, torture, and unjust imprisonment under the repressive regime that emerged from the fake federal rule by the TPLF (Tigray People’s Liberation Front), worsened by their ally OPDO, now called Prosperity Party, led by the deceiving leader Abiy Ahmed, who wrongly received the Nobel Prize.
Two years ago, female students were kidnapped by the military faction OLA of the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF), and this week, similar incidents occurred mainly with male students, who were traveling home during break season. The regime in Addis Ababa and its controlled media are preoccupied with a fictitious “corridor city” project, while the international community remains largely indifferent to this humanitarian tragedy.
I refuse to stay silent. I appeal to all Ethiopian compatriots and the international community to condemn these brutal actions and dismantle of civillians by this evil regime in Ethiopia, which is orchestrating another potential genocide, particularly targeting the Amhara population.
History teaches us that when German Nazi criminals first attacked other populations, Western powers remained silent, reacting only when the Nazis turned against them.
Let us not repeat this tragedy. Let us be the voice for the voiceless Ethiopians, especially the Amhara people, whose identity has been a target of divisive politics for decades, fueled by the collaboration of Oromo and Tigrayan supremacist politicians, reaching its peak under the current Ethiopian regime.
OLA & Abiy are the two side of a coin the only deference is one is living in Menelik Palace the other is living in the jangle.
Don’t you dare call the kidnappers of these innocent citizens as Oromos or a ‘liberation’ army. This is nothing terrorism in every way you look at it. Oromos are not kidnappers and never been one. They were victims of kidnappers themselves. These are run of the mill thugs. Their behavior was/is barbaric. Oromos are kind people. Just look at they have done for those few who were lucky to escape. They were able to hide inside the homes of Oromo peasants until the savage kidnappers had completely gone away. The acts of those very kind Oromo peasants is what describes us Oromos. So stop calling these savage kidnappers ‘Oromo radicals’. It will not help further the accord. It will make the work of those of us who have been working very hard to bring people from various ethnic backgrounds to come together. Just stop it.
These inhumane and ethnically drunk “Oromos” will not stop from killing and looting the unfortunate until they are eliminated by other forces. Here is a group calling for the liberty of Oromos and brutalizing others with no reason. Such is the fruit of ethnic policy in Ethiopia. In my humble opinion, it was then and now the Oromo people at large are caring and loving with out any concern for ethnicity and religion. Therefore, blaming the entire Oromo people for the actions of a few will not be Prudent. However, as it is with the TPLF the so called Oromo people liberators have poisoned the general public for their own goals and sadistic achievements. Sorting this out can be tricky!
Therefore, we must rise together and condemn the actions of the Oromo looters. This is not the time to keep quite. This is the hour to confront evil. To sit silent will be considered to aid the moronic group. Speak up, write about it, talk about the sad action of the group abroad and within Ethiopia. Let the people know the graphic details of the gang of the Oromo liberators. This action will shame those who yearn to form the republic of Oromia which is a farfetched idea to begin with and shut off their blind white and Arab backers and supporters to some extent. It is a shame to take anyone hostage and ask for a ransom money for their freedom. Does anyone see the difference between the OLA and Boko haram actions? I bet not!
Ethnic federalism is a sham. It is designed to help stay on power those who engineered the country along Ethnic lines. What we see is the by product of the Apartheid policy. What is more painful is the unceasing quarrel, division and relentless accusation and counter accusation of each other among Ethiopians. Following a just call and an aimless crowd are two different things. OLA is a formation of forced people and at that goalless in its undertake. You can’t achieve your goals by inflicting pain and mayhem upon others. You will just be consumed by the the same fire you are spreading sooner or later.
