In a sweeping triumph for the Amhara resistance, the Amhara Fano National Front (AFNF) has dealt a crushing blow to Abiy Ahmed’s regime forces in Wollo. Brave AFNF fighters have captured 471 ENDF troops, dismantling multiple military outposts and seizing large stockpiles of weapons and equipment.
This historic victory underscores the determination and strength of the Amhara people in their struggle for freedom and survival. AFNF commanders say the operation sends a clear message: government brutality and repression cannot extinguish the will of the people. Across North and South Wollo, communities have rallied in support, even as the regime responds with shelling and blockades that endanger civilians.
