KUWAIT CITY, May 31: An unidentified Ethiopian maid who stabbed herself and ran out of the house naked, has been admitted to the Psychiatric Hospital, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to security sources police rushed to Faiha when pedestrians informed the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior that a bleeding woman of African origin was streaking naked in the area.
During investigation police discovered the woman slit her wrists when the sponsor refused to allow her to go home. It has also been revealed she was involved in a fight with another maid working for the same sponsor.
Police are waiting for a doctor’s report.
Maid harassed: A Kuwaiti man, whose identity has not been disclosed, accompanied his Ethiopian maid to the Taima Police Station in Jahra and filed a complaint accusing the neighbor’s son of harassing his maid, reports Al-Anba daily.
The daily did not give more details.
