Tessema G Christos AUGUST 27, 1956 – AUGUST 20, 2023
Ethiopia has lost one great unsung hero who had played a major role Exposing and Informing the world and Ethiopians about the Tplf regime during it’s 27 years of absolute dominance and control of the Ethiopian State. He had written over 150 articles in English and done all within his capacity to help change public sentiment and attitude.
Zehabesha would like to offer our sincere sympathies on the death of our long-time contributor, Tessema Christos pen name Teshome Debalke. He was a highly respected member of the Ethiopian community.

What a sad news for Freedom loving Ethiopians. Teshome has been championing for peace and justice in Ethiopia through his regularly published articles and opinions. It is a big loss for many Ethiopians.
Dear Teshome Debalke’s family,
I am deeply saddened by the news of Teshome’s passing. He was a courageous voice for truth and justice in Ethiopia. I admired his work. He inspired me and many others to stand up for our rights and dignity as Ethiopians.
I remember one of his comments that thanked me for writing the article titled “Read Books the TPLF Command Post Banned”.
I offer my heartfelt condolences and prayers to you and your loved ones. May God comfort you and give you strength in this difficult time. May Teshome’s soul rest in peace and his legacy live on.
