Source: Arab News

KUWAIT CITY: The Ethiopian maid who murdered a 25-year-old Kuwaiti woman, identified as Aisha Al-Failakawi, on Thursday re-enacted the crime in front of securitymen before she was referred to the public prosecution, reports Al-Watan Arabic daily.

The maid said she committed the crime deliberately as she wanted to take revenge from the family for treating her badly and for threatening to send her back to her country.

The maid said she took advantage of the fact that the victim was sleeping and stabbed her several times and when the victim resisted, the Ethiopian said she slit the victim’s wrist and neck.

The maid added that she went to the roof of the house to hide the murder weapons and went to the airport. Securitymen had stopped her at the airport after noticing minor injuries marks on her body and arrested her as soon as the crime was reported.
