  1. Voting for this evil is cooperating with the dirty genocide being done in Ethiopia. People are being killed, tortured, imprisoned,…. on daily basis in this country. You whites, your barking for democracy is really empty. You choose to back dictators in Africa. Look!! They loot their own people in their respective countries, and come to Addis (Finfine) and invest that money on street ladies in Ethiopia. How shameful you are!!!!???

  2. All this U.N. and it’s affiliated global Organizations are deeply Politicized and run by the same groups who finance and diplomatically support Brutal Dictators all over Africa including Ethiopia.
We should not be surprised If they choose their another henchman,A well known TPLF member and Pathological more Tedros Adhanom

  3. Dr. Adhanom’s website has gone to great length to present his vision and resume in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic and Chinese. And yet it is dishonourable that it was not posted in “Amharic”- the Official Language of the ancient sub-Saharan African country, who he directly represents as well as Africa at large.

Despite the fact that Ethiopia with its own Geez alphabet and sophisticated grammar, poetry, k’nay has also contributed the well preserved “Book of Enoch” to the Holy Bible, the fact that Dr. Adhanom’s vision and resume was not presented in Amharic shows his disdain to the language not to mention the Ethiopian people, who he claims to have served at various level.

Ethiopians deserve the right to know the Ethiopian, if he truly is one, aspiring to lead such a respectful office with global impact. But then again it shouldn’t come as a surprise if he gets the position in these days and age where undeserving individuals are grabbing higher offices by any means possible.

  4. Dr. Chan’s CV, current WHO director general

Born in Hong Kong, Margaret Chan was initially trained as a Home Economics teacher at the Northcote College of Education. She then earned her BA degree in Home Economics[5] and her MD degree at the University of Western Ontario in 1973 and 1977, respectively, as well as her MSc (Public Health) degree at the National University of Singapore in 1985. Chan completed the Program for Management Development (PMD 61) at Harvard Business School in 1991. In 1997, she was given the distinction for the Fellowship of the Faculty of Public Health Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom and was also appointed as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II.[6]
She joined the Hong Kong Government in December 1978 as a Medical Officer. In November 1989, she was promoted to Assistant Director of the Department of Health. In April 1992, she was promoted to Deputy Director and, in June 1994, was named the first woman in Hong Kong to head the Department of Health. She left the Hong Kong Government in August 2003 after 25 years of service to join the World Health Organization.

    Dr. Adhanom’s CV

Tedros was born in 1965 in Asmara.[5] As a child, he recalls being “fully cognisant of the needless suffering and deaths” caused by malaria.[4] In 1986 he received his Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biology from the University of Asmara, and joined the Ministry of Health of the Derg as a junior public health expert.
After the fall of Mengistu Haile Mariam, Tedros returned to university to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Immunology of Infectious Diseases from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.[1] He subsequently received a Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Community Health from the University of Nottingham in 2000, with his doctoral dissertation being “The effects of dams on malaria transmission in Tigray Region, northern Ethiopia, and appropriate control measures
Dr. Chan has an M.D. whereas Dr. Adhanom has PHD.

Her qualification is over 100x more superior than Dr. Adhanom. Medical doctors get training in all diseases including infectious diseases. Dr. Adhanom training is only composed of infectious diseases, immunology and community health. HE DID NOT PAY A DIME FOR HIS EDUCATION. ETHIOPIAN TAX PAYERS SUBSIDIZED HIS EDUCATION WHILE HE WAS GETTING PAID BIG BUCKS FOR SCREWING ETHIOPIAN PEOPLE AS ON THE JOB TRAINER GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL. He did not get training in diseases of the heart, lung, liver, kidney, brain, stomach, cancer and many other medical conditions. As a person without an M.D. degree he shouldn’t have been allowed to be Ethiopian Minister of health from 2005-2009. Alas, he got the position not because of his merit but political affiliation. Since he is a member of TPLF, prime minister Meles gave him the job. During his tenure as Ethiopian minister of health and up to present day, Ethiopian health care has been precipitously going down in quality and is a disaster where people with moderate to severe diseases never get of hospital alive. Therefore, he is totally and completely unqualified to be WHO director general.
Nevertheless, it is WHO that we are talking about. WHO is an organization with close to zero accomplishments. There is no need whatsoever to have an organization such as WHO. WHO is supported by close to 200 member countries to cover about ¼ of its budget. USA contributes the most money. I am not sure how much ethiopia contributes to WHO. I forgot everything in Ethiopia is a secret especially when it comes to money. WHO begs for ¾ of its budget. It is a beggar just like TPLF government. It is more effective for each country in the world to invest heavily in its people health and manage its own health affairs rather than getting lectured by illiterate and misinformed WHO staff. I believe, President Trump will pull the rug under WHO by withdrawing it financial contribution which will create a domino effect where other countries will follow thru leading to the total collapse of WHO. WHO’s parent organization the UN is not only a useless organization but also a very dangerous, corrupt organization that contributed a great deal human suffering and humanitarian disasters including wars since its inception in the late 1940’s. It was created with the aim TO END ALL WARS. However, there were and continue to be more wars after its creation than before.

  5. The best person for international post in the post cold war era is:
    – renowned traitor against own nation/peoples
    – renowned lair
    – absolute obedient
    – renowned killer (masked or open)
    – devoid of human standards

  6. Why do you look everything in one angle? The WHO’s DG position does not have any relationship with Ethiopia political dynamic except expressing your internal deep envy that embedded to your gene that when you see a success to a person who you know. You ‘ve to know whether Dr. Adhanom is a DG of WHO or not does not bring any change in the political course of our country but if he gets the position he may able to peel off the some of the problems on African case with WHO establishment. Country image and your personal hatred have to be different. Some writers were speculating and wrote the reflection of their jealousy which was not correlated to the actual process of the candidate screening.

  7. My, oh my! Are we in for a big ride. The seed to clear the road for Adhanom was planted in 2011. Check the link below and others related to it in YouTube. Brace yourselves everyone at the WHO and in Ethiopia too. This is a bad omen heralding the Republican in the White House will give its’ elephant’s ear as it is to the woes of Ethiopians.

  8. Guys!!!what ever happens, Dr. Tewodros A. Gebereyesus will be the General Director of WHO. He is the only person who fits for the position. Those who oppose and abuse his name, I suggest to see his psat works in his region and throughout the country. If he wins the whole Africa will be beneficials. Go for it!! Tewodros!!!

  9. Mulugeta,

You are right ‘he is the only person who fits for the position’ because none of the others can met the key best person criteria for international posts in the post cold war era:
    – renowned traitor against own nation/peoples
    – renowned lair
    – absolute obedient
    – renowned killer (masked or open)
    – devoid of human standards

Thus, he is the only one! Only Adhanom like people can be effective colonial agents.
