The officer reported smelling marijuana in the car, which led to a search, revealing over 100 credit and debit cards, a laptop computer, and credit card reader/writer device.
According to police, those are telltale signs of what is now becoming a common crime.
“We also found a number of gift cards in there,” said Sergeant Ray Hahs of the Ladue Police Department. “It’s very common to use the stolen credit cards or re-encoded credit cards, and then they’ll buy gift cards and they’ll take the gift cards and buy whatever items they want, so that it’s very difficult to track.”
Police say the suspects came to the St. Louis area from Seattle and made several stops.
“We believe they flew into Chicago, rented a car in Chicago, and then they went through Indianapolis, then came down this way, and went into Arkansas,” said Hahs.
Police say it is unclear whose identities may be on those stolen cards, or how many victims are located in the St. Louis area.

  1. lock them up for the rest of their lives. there is no need to release them. because they are good for nothing.

  2. What diasporas should know is that getting involved in a crime like these will put a bad record they will not be able to find school, jobs , housing and even welfare assistance in some cases for the rest of their lives. Ethiopians get deported for crimes like these but not eritreans since the Eritrean government doesnot accept deported people back to eritrea. They will end up homeless burden for their families burden their friends and going around begging for money to any diaspora they see on the streets in most cases forcing us to give them. They will haunt us all. Especially if they are Eritreans they will not be deported nomatter what crime they commit since the Eritrean government doesnot accept anybody that is deported back. There are many as many as 100,000 Eritrean criminals running around USA some rehabilitated working cash jobs most begging habeshas and stealing from Habeshas every chance they get because they are illegal immigrants that cannot be deported whose social security number doesnot exist in the system anymore. Donald Trump said “Mexico sends their criminals”,he didn’t see how many Eritreans that court ordered them to be deported are running around with out even getting foodstamps with no choice but to commit crimes to feed themselves. Noone risking to hire them because of their records and too much criminal behaviours. That is why we shouldnot make it a habit to give money to HABESHAS in the diaspora in USA if they cannot make it on their own they should be the problem of the USA government not diasporas. Especially sunny California is the hub for undeportable Eritrean gangsters that are going around the low income areas terrorizing Ethiopians that do not drive each time they see them walking. some are homebound because of them. . In Atlanta they even break into their houses while they are out and about. In most areas states they break into cars. Ethiopians are under attack with their identities constantly because they mug them and find someone who looks like them to go shopping with their cards.
