Off-duty Lincoln County deputy attacked at metro Walmart, 3 arrested

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) —
A Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputy suffered minor injuries after being attacked outside a metro Walmart.
Oklahoma City police say the deputy was working security overnight at the store on Northwest Expressway when two men were asked to leave. They both refused and a fight broke out. Police arrested the two men involved in the altercation and say a third man was later taken into custody.

Those three men are facing felony assault charges and battery on a police officer. They’ll also face misdemeanor trespassing charges.
Police identified the men arrested as 24-year-old Tesfayonhans Abraha, 25-year-old Emmanuel Frank Akpablo, and 20-year-old Japheth Pilot.
The deputy refused treatment for his injuries.
