I watched the “Ethiopianism TV” posted here.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFpc6UM5kQc
Professor Mussie the ” Ethiopianism TV ” producer was very angry and agitated of the ESAT interview of Isayas Afewrokiof Eritrea. The professor should have dissected the interview with facts. He should have rather compared and contrasted the “Eritrean Constitution” with “Woyane Constitution” the core of the interview. The “Eritrean Constitution” does not divide Eritreans into  “Kilil” like the Woyane Constitution. There is no Article 39 in the “Eritrean Constitution”. The professor failed to do that.
I found the professor in the same camp with the diaspora Oromo groups, OLF/OPDO, who  claimed being colonized by Ethiopia/Habeshas who lashed out also against Isayas following the clip of the interview few weeks ago. OLF/OPDOendorsed the “Woyane Constitution” and their problem with Woyane is on controlling/liberating their Kilil. The diaspora Oromo Media Network recent partying in Minnesota is a good indicator of  the relationship of the so calledOromo opposition with the OPDO/Woyane Boss Aba Dula.
ESAT Ignoring of the human rights violations in Eritrea which the whole world knows and the professor also raised  was wrong. However, the core of the interview was Article 39 and Kililization of Ethiopia. Isayas Afeworki publicly said for the Ethiopian people on the record that he never endorsed the Ethiopian Constitution of divide and rule. No wonder theOLF/OPDO are crying foul on social medias and Professor Mussie joined this camp by default.
The interview has not yet been concluded. ESAT might raise the issue of human rights violation both in Eritrea and Ethiopia in the next part of the interview. Ethiopians and Eritreans are reacting to the first part of the interview thanks to the Interview. For that ESAT journalists should be thanked for starting this conversation. That is the job of a journalist.

  1. Who cares about Human Rights in Eritrea. Our goal is to liberate Ethiopia and not to talk about human rights in Eritrea. Let Eritreans deal with that. Important is Eritrea president far better than Woyanes.

  2. Hi mr tedla asfaw, you are not alone, but let any one dig more about it.i have been watching his stuffon utub, the so call “ethiopianism” but the fact he is lecturing us about poletics, the way he came up and concluded was ,all the way to insult,mr esayas afuwerki and gibot 7.once said,he was fired by mr esayas from failing to organize arbegnoch ginbar, and the truth i learnt was he is indirect pro tplf.ginbot 7seems manged to succeed in forming organizing ginbot 7and arbegnoch,so far so good, even gibot 7convinced other folks.so since dr musse is in europe,no one would belive him,i tell him,if he insult andarigachew,he can go to hell.remove all worthless utube vidio of him,and join gibot 7,if he think no choice, other has a choice, any way.he knows how to lecture no nothing,he can’t. Travel, can’t. Organize so i assume he is no one.except lecture of ethiopianism.

  3. tedla is wrong again lol he talked about eritrean constitution which doesnt exist. mr tedl, eritrea never claimed to have a constitution, unless you wrote one for them. tedla never showed a principled theme in all his writings excepting enjoying to being the first to jamp and ride on the wagon passing by… he sounded more shabia than isayas himself…poor tedla. attention seeker

  4. Mr. Tedla, the core reason why Isayas Afwerki opposing the Ethiopian Constitution is he doesn’t want to give the the Afar and other nationalities in Eritrea same as Ethiopia. At one time you where crying for the right of Afar to determine their fate and now you are agreeing with Isayas. The the right of nations and nationalities of Ethiopia to use their language in school, court and office and administer their Kilil shouldn’t be opposed by anyone. The nation and nationalities of Ethiopia doesn’t need a blessing from Isayas for their basic right.

  6. Tedla,
Thank you for the honest analysis of the interview. That is the way it should be looked at with out any string attached to it. Kudos to you!

  7. prof. Muse is right on the target in this issue. How come you go to a government that every thing wrong and ask advise about Ethiopia? If Esayas knows better he could have led his country in the right direction. Did you hear that G7 is labeled as terrorist group like alshebab? G7 has great people, but the leadership are bloodsuckers and incompetent.

  8. When I saw the interview for the first time I was asking my self what is the purpose of this interview ? are they wrong to interview this dictator? how ever I think it is a good thing, because I was so happy to hear when Esayas said they were wrong, wrong to divided people, wrong to teach hate, wrong to create false image as if one is above and one is under, wrong to twist History and use it for wrong purpose, I noted that Esayase never mentioned that Ethiopia colonized Eritrea, I am glad that he admitted that the relationship between Ethio/Eritrea can not be broken no matter how much they (both woyan and shabia) tried, WE the people shall rise, let hold each others hand, and say no for division, say no for hate, Let forgive and forget the pass and start a new healthy relationship, We are one !!!

  9. From all the above comments I have deduced prof. Mussie has put his stamp in Ethiopian politics. He has relentlessly worked hard in his own way to contribute to the struggle. I have closely watched his TV he is doing excellent job and balancing politics. His mission is to liberate his country, he equivocally condemns all enemies with out favouring one from the other. Supporters of G7 and ESAT should know they too are subject to criticism, they can not be above Ethiopian people, we will give them direction and benchmark but not them.
Who is this man called Tedela by the way? Professor Mussie carry on sir, I like your style, you are an intellectual you live also a life of a common man that is what we require from Ethiopian intellectuals rather than sitting in ivory tower let them come down and meet the common people. This country is for all of us let Ethiopian intellectuals show us their patriotism spirit. When Ethiopia is liberated they will migrate with brief case and their diploma but during the struggle time they are distant observers. Well done professor Mussie great respect we need more people like you patriots, courageous, teachers and leaders.

  10. The “Professor” is “forcing” (you can tell by viewing the posted video “Ethiopianism TV”) people to admit that ESAT is not the people’s voice. In my opinion ESAT has never been the tool of Eritrea, go and check for yourself one of the programs on ESAT called “Keerso Lerso”, you will hear the voice and cry of real Ethiopians! The Professor may have some issues with President Issaias Afework but he should not let his grudges with the president interfere with his judgement about the media that is serving the voiceless and oppressed people in Ethiopia.

  11. Getnet,
    you made me laugh. kkkkk
who cares about the constitution of another country? Let the Eritrean people deal about that. Our goal is to liberate Ethiopia. We take any help we get, even from the devil. Nothing wrong. Woyanie got help from Esayas. Nothing wrong if we do it. because Ethiopia without woyanies is better off. What life you have now when the nwoyanies urinate on yo??

  12. Dear mr tedla,
It is easy to understand your motive, you can’t convince a soul. No constitution is better than a kind that divide a country. Please try it at gimbot 20 elementary school, Ethiopia is too big to be ruled by fascist italian way of ethnic based minority over majority hegemony.

  13. If the entry below is that of abebe gelaw of Addis Voice…., he seems to have started to realize what healthy politics is though it is a rude awakening. However better late than never. But am still in doubt. people like him can never turn to truth…

  14. mr-writer Eritrea has no constitution. Isayas is planing to write constitution after the coming of the hemel. Go and check his january 2015 interview.

  15. Mr Tedla do you know Amhara saying that says “just to know who you are, check his friends around him” . If you take Esayas’s words as it is then you are not an Ethiopian but a person who dreams just to have poletical power for finacial interest. You don’t care about the people but after the interest of outdated poletics which your ethenic leaders made our country to be the poorert country in the world and forced the rest of people to accept your ethnic calture and forced to say that the only people to decide the coming futurity of our country is at the hand of your ethnic . Due to poletical change people came acros how much you are power mongerr and are ready to sale the country to enemy especially for Esayas but we have a very strong party/EPRDF after the interest of the country and people . Feel shame for the words you post.

  16. There are two things neftenyas do not understand for a long time.
1.You will never get back your “Taqilay gizat” style administration.
2.You will never get back your one country one language “Amharic”
If you realize these realities at least you could minimize the gap of differences.

  17. Shame on you all ESAT Etc… how can you even trust Isaya’s all that nonsense. Who got us in all this mess ? EPLF is our number one enemy ,he has been working all his life to dismantle our country. He has been promoting infighting so that we do not get along. He even said as recent as last year “Ethiopia was created after second world war” he tried his best to diminish our country. Now all of a sudden because you guys wanted to be in power, you forgot all what he did and what he is doing now and you made him pro Ethiopia instantly. This shows have no moral or political principle. How different are you than the current Government? Your principle appears to be as long as we get money and he is against EPRDF we do not care. You are not going to get any where.

  18. My Fellow Ethiopians,
It is simply absurd to listen to this interview of a man who wrecked havoc in our country and the horn of Africa for nearly half a century as if he is going to be our savior. This monster is a war criminal and should be treated as such. I despise the TPLF junta for what it has done to our country over the last 23 years, but it is simply short sighted and stupid to forget the fact that the mafia group that is destroying the fabric of our historic country was created by none other than Isaias Afeworki.
How are these two “journalists” any different from the so called ETV “journalists” who start writing in their notebook before the TPLF mafia bosses they are interviewing start talking? Look at the contemptuous smile on Isaias’s face when the two goons open their notebooks and start writing as if they are taking notes from a famous scholar. You can see from his demeanor and they way he dressed up how much respect he has for the two guys conducting the interview. Why would anybody do that? I mean talk to Isaias about whatever problems we are facing in Ethiopia. This psychopath is our problem. PERIOD!
If you want peace, democracy, and hope in that part of the world, you have to organize the people who are under the grip of these brutal dictators and lead the struggle from within. Hoping a few AK 47s and a rag tag army trained by Isaias’ henchmen is going to bring about change we are longing for is a wishful thinking.

  19. So, anybody with very poor English and with poor understanding of Eritrea can write anything on such a website as zehabesha (eritreans’ term) to declare support for Isayas Afeweki.
Tedla. I suggest to you to write in hour native languag Whateverthat is so a reader can clearly see your mistake.

  20. ” who cares about the constitution of another country? Let the Eritrean people deal about that. Our goal is to liberate Ethiopia. We take any help we get, even from the devil. Nothing wrong. Woyanie got help from Esayas. Nothing wrong if we do it. because Ethiopia without woyanies is better off. What life you have now when the nwoyanies urinate on yo??
    Abegaz ”
    So-called Abegaz,
are you a tigrian TPLF cadre, that i suspect, or a fool Ethiopian who writes “who cares about the Eritrean constitution ?”
If you are fool you should have thought twice and trice before hurrying to write such response.
You should have asked yourself why the ESAT journalists decided to raise the issue.
I say bravo ESAT, it was good to ask that question. And i think the intention of both ESAT and Isayas was to EXPOSE the divide and rule tactic of the ferenji agent and banda TPLF. If the so-called Abegaz is a woyane cadre his comment is understandable. He is angry that TPLF was exposed. Job well done ESAT !
Regarding Tedla, he is right to say the “Ethiopianism” TV director should have better focused on Isayas’ comment against the Banda TPLF’s constitution and article 39 instead of attacking Isayas, that would have been wiser.
Another point is a comment likely by Banda TPLF cadre Tesfa: ” … The the right of nations and nationalities of Ethiopia to use their language in school, court and office and administer their Kilil shouldn’t be opposed by anyone. ”
I think we should reject tribalist terminology like “nations and nationalities”, that is the term of Banda TPLF. In Ethiopia there is only one nation, and that is Ethiopia or Ethiopians.
The Banda TPLFites may suffer from inferiority complex and jealousy towards what they call “Amharas” and they brought this stupid idea of “nations and nationalities” NOT because they care about the “oppressed” “nation and nationalities” but because they thought that way they “could inflict harm” on the Amharas. You see, their cry “nation and nationalities” is ill-motivated.
Sure we have no problem with Ethiopian tribes using their mother tounge although it is also very important that all Ethiopians are able to communicate using one language. Of course that language must be an Ethiopian language, and of course that language is Amharic, a language that doesn’t belong to one tribe and is Ethiopian.
The problem is the Ethiopians, who are mostly from more than one tribe, WERE FORCED by, from inferiority complex and jealousy suffering, Banda TPLFites to DECIDE for one tribe.
Banda TPLFites, you are so stupid !
You can not cheat tribally mixed Ethiopians with your crocodile tears for “oppressed nations and nationalities”.
We know what your real motivation is !
In reality you are suffering from inferiority complex and jealousy towards the so-called Amharas, and you think you will feel better if you destroy what you think belongs to “Amharas”.
