Businessman found guilty of intruding Meles’ widow’s cousin email

azeb_mesfinYonas Kassahun, an Ethiopian Diaspora businessman from Germany, who was involved in a business activity with Akiko Seyoum, the cousin of Azeb Mesfin, widow of the late Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi, has been found guilty of intruding the private emails of Akiko Seyoum and deleting, forwarding and passing the information to a third party, Addis Abeba based Amharic weekly Addis Admas reported. The Newspaper said the invasion was confirmed by the government’s internet spy agency, INSA. Yonas is now under police custody and is to be sentenced on Monday October 27th, 2014.
Akiko’s Orchid Business Group is one of thee very few private firms involved in the construction of the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.
