Gedion Zelalem named in Arsenal’s UEFA Champions League squad

Arsenal’s record signing Mesut Ozil has been named in Arsenal’s Champions League squad for the group stages.

The £42.5million signing from Real Madrid has been joined in the Gunners’ squad alongside fellow new signings Emiliano Viviano, Mathieu Flamini and Yaya Sanogo.

o been selected after failing to land a deadline day move to Crystal Palace when Arsenal were unable to sign Demba Ba on loan from Chelsea.

There is also room for Lukas Podolski, who has been ruled out for ten weeks with a hamstring injury.
