BURNSVILLE, Minn. (KMSP) –
Burnsville police are investigating after a man was fatally shot at Nina’s Grill in Burnsville early Sunday morning.
Officers were called to 2510 Horizon Drive on a report of a shooting at 1:58 a.m. Upon arrival, police found a dead man in the parking lot.
Surveillance footage from the restaurant is now in the hands of police, who say an argument between two men spilled out into the parking lot at closing time.

Family members identified the victim as 22-year-old Palagor Jobi, of Burnsville, and say he was a sophomore at Normandale Community College.
Jobi and his family moved to Minnesota from Ethiopia in 1993, and dozens of his loved ones traveled from across the state to mourn together at the scene of the shooting. None of Jobi’s loved ones had any information on who may have shot him or what the motive may have been.
Dakota County records indicate Jobi has been arrested six times in the past three years on charges of fraud, DUI, minor consumption and probation violations. The mug shot contained in this story stems from a 2011 charge of careless driving.
Jobi has also been charged in Scott County, with three previous theft arrests and two outstanding charges of fifth-degree assault and obstruction.
No suspect was found after an extensive search of the area, and investigators say they have no suspect information at this time. Anyone with information about the shooting is therefore urged to call Investigator Dawn Johnson at 952-895-4594.
